BRAZIL CORRUPTION
An investigative journalism agency focused on corruption in Brazil

After dedicating so much time to the fight against corruption, I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to overcome this situation from within. Consider that in one of the first serious corruption cases I encountered, I reported the matter to the ombudsman's office; yet, the ombudsman was arrested shortly thereafter—precisely for covering up cases and protecting the corrupt.
I fought from within public and private institutions, as well as through civil society organizations such as associations, movements, and political parties.
Faced with the lack of genuine commitment from Brazilian institutions—both public and private—to combating corruption, I decided to turn to foreign institutions. These entities are also significantly harmed by Brazilian corruption, yet they possess civic awareness and effective means to defend their rights.
